Jazwares

The Long Haul

This was an experience in which I got to see all of the ins and outs of working hands-on with a client daily. Jazwares was the client I spent most of my time with as it was Leslie Rose's biggest client so far, and I am grateful to be able to experience it with her. She has worked with them since August 2023 and had a final close with them just last week.

The Single Stop

West Broward High School was one of the easier closes. Leslie Rose already had a prior relationship with the principal of the school. We were able to do a single walk around of the school and sign the LOI on the spot.

Coming Soon!

I was just recently assigned to start going through a list of higher Education websites and registering for RFP opportunities in the Alabama area that Leslie Maniscalco's team would like to have an opportunity on. I was asked to step in on this project as a sort of "Shelby 2.0" as one could say, as Leslie's team does not currently have an ADBD position. I can't wait to get started and learn everything possible from this research project.

The Work

Food for Thought!

Don't
Forget to
BeReal!

I did exactly what I was hoping to do during this internship. I mainly wanted to learn how to build connections and network efficiently in a workplace. As well as discover what the job of a seller for Canteen holds to get into the mindset of a seller and learn as much as possible in the ten weeks I had. I learned many new strategies, including utilizing DISC and emotional intelligence with the people around me. I use these behavior and communication methods in every room I walk in now. This has helped me solve problems as they arise because I am always bold in asking for help from those around me. I feel that every single part of my experience during the internship was exactly what I was striving to learn. Shadowing RSDs completely solidified my drive to become an RSD after I graduate. I hope to return next summer and learn everything I still need to. I will walk through the selling procedures from beginning to end to ensure there is no stone unturned by the time I graduate. During times of personal uncertainty, Alisa would say, “Just go for it,” with the most relaxed tone. I felt she had my back; I had nothing to lose and everything to gain and get comfortable being uncomfortable.
